You have to be arraigned before a trial, which could then find you guilty. As far as I know, you have to be arrested to be arraigned.

Yes, some states require arraignment, but that can be handled without arrest.
You or your attorney is notified, you show up in court.
No show, arrest warrant is issued.

No. Do not listen to these other answers. You will have the warrant but you have to appear in court to begin the trial.

Yes you can be ..when you go to court for your hearing they will tell you then what charges are being brought against you.
