My precalc/phyisics teacher has this and I'm not really sure what it is and I'm curious, I do know though that it's not a karate thing.

Hi. Sigma is a unit of standard deviation. Six sigma is a level of quality control that assures (theoretically) a level control that only allows a very small number of defects. A black belt is someone certified to not only understand this concept, but can assure that processes are in control (or figure out how to get them in control) within Six Sigma.

Hold on, **^^ this answer is one I would
make to the graduate class of stargate, active travel trade
shipping or the command of everything patriotic. The sigma
six story is somewhat about the use of power signal such as
sonic resplendid satellite, though it means karate power. As
applied it is possible to create the force of the statue of liberty
in actions of defending a planet. Level s 6 equals the dispell
of alien, enemy signal in straightening out transmission tv,
other command signal, and approaching alien materials in one
example radio activated meteors that damage this system are
exploded by simply pressing a button. Though further studies
show some people are naturally gifted, trained and professional
at doing such detail. Another way to study this is transformers
robot legends the patriots of the air force explorer missions.

First of all, it's a person. Usually a manager of a company with operations focused on improved quality.

Once this person is certified, he can help reduce defects to 3.4 per million. For example in iPods, that would be 3.4 defects, but for the parts inside the iPod, for example the flash memory (key factor for success), that supplier might also use six sigma.

So this blackbelt can really work at any company looking to improve quality. Lots of the best companies use it, but it was more popular a few years ago, now it's a given.
