How much do you rely on peripheral vision?

And do Moms really have eyes in the back of their head?

I drive for a living, I use it a lot. My mom had 5 boys and I never saw any evidence of her being able to see behind her but I had 2 teachers in high school that were positively erie. We used to test them by raising our hands to be called on when they had their back to us at the blackboard and they never missed a call.

I rely on peripheral vision a lot, sometimes it's the best way to see things. But I don't think moms have eyes in the back of their head.....or at least, I know I don't!

Yes us moms have eyes in the back of our heads.........you have to remember we were young once and we know what WE did, so WE know what the kids do. Peripheral Vision is fantastic.

I use it more than I think.
My freakin Mom had eyes in the back of her head. She had to..always knew what we were doing and where we had been. Couldn't get anything by that damn woman. Love her so much tho :)

Quite a lot, actually. I can see quite well behind me. But I'm not a mom, except of cats.

A fair bit. I trust it. My mom was a standard issue mother: one nose, one mouth, two eyes (front-mounted in stereo configuration).

my mom never had eyes in the back of her head, she had the same problem as me......yeah!
