Why when repubs win, they cheer and get happy for their accomplishments, but when the dems win, or lose even, they're bad sports?
And to answer you, I'm a conservative dem that is sick of the liberal influence of our party. You cheer now, but I don't think you'll be cheering next year when things even out. The new legislature is going to be pretty moderate.

it's not just the president that is making the American people mad. It's the way the Republican Congress has refused to question any policy coming out of the Bush White House, and their coverup of the Mark Foley scandal, and the Jack Abramoff scandaMF Too many dirty tricks, too much corruption. Time for a change and a divided government. Bush has too much power; he needs to be reined in, and since we're not voting for the president, we use the house and senate as surrogates.
However, this is nothing new. Most presidents in recent decades who had a second term lost big in the midterm elections. The public gets restive and wants change; and presidents tend to get either arrogant or complacent.

Somehow they're going to figure out a way to blame it on Bill Clinton. Everything that goes wrong, they blame on poor Bill and this will surely be his fault as well.

They can blame the moderates. Many of them are losing. Chafee is gone. Nancy Johnson is gone.

WHEN they lose majority, you mean?
I guess. I mean, does keeping away from him while campaigning let him know his body odor is offensive, even to Reps?
