You will measure the pressure of a gas whenever you check your car tire or check your scuba tank and derive the time left.
Also, looking at a barometer and forcasting the weather is a measument of gas pressure. So is looking at an altimeter in an airplane.

Hi. Whenever you drive your car the computer figures the barometric pressure for best performance/economy. Same with a jet.
