Giraffes make a very limited number of sounds that are audible to the human ear (grunts, snorts, etc.). The majority of their vocalizations, however, are produced at frequencies that are imperceptible to us (infrasound).
Research suggests that their vocalizations may be designed to be a covert form of communication.
Other animals have been observed to communicate via infrasound and include okapi, elephants, whales, and rhinoceros.

The unique giraffe, is 5 families wide in full herds. Noah's
ark scientists will argue there are over 100 families is proven.
The five living families now do have smaller pod families near.
The sounds they make are described as infra and also
nonsociable. This means that the language is limited and
is reported to be because of their being the rarest animal.
Rarest of the domestic. Giraffes used to be pets, and pack
workers in earlier tribal history, still used rarely the giraffe is
very quiet. There low numbers is of concern to biology experts
and they are recently for 40 years protected species gaining
some communication skills, one study says they have only
21 words, and very recently have added 10 new ones. This is
likely an accurate report. Giraffes like to live with horses,
donkeys, steed, and oxen and have moved from elephant
areas where they may have made mistakes in survival about
getting stepped on as babies. So they always say I won't
ever forget you! The general herds are gold with orange,
forests with yellow, yellow with orange and brown, white
with deep sea green and yellow, and yellow with brown.

Giraffes do make noise, but not when they're content. They can make a variety of grunts and bleats. However, this is usually a sign of physical pain, uneasiness of the group, excitement, or other states of discontent.

Although generally quiet, they may grunt of snort when alarmed, females may whistle to call their young, and calves can bleat.
Current research has shown that the animal speaks at an infra-sound level
