I know it's a little early, but I wanna know. We all know the usual suspects. Nash, LeBron, Kobe, A.I., Duncan... but who might shock a lot of people. Who do YOU see winning the MVP that not a lot of people don't.

Just to throw out a couple names, Elton Brand, Chris Paul...

If Lamar Odom were on a team without Kobe I would say him too.

I'll say Joe Johnson, although he's on a pathetic team, if he can help improve them and continues at the pace he is at now, he'll be a good candidate for MVP. Also you stated Elton Brand, he had a great season last year, and if he continues to improve he'll be another one. Definitely Chris Paul, he's just a great playmaker and makes his teammates around him better.

i like Kobe's play yet because of the fact Kobe's team is enjoying so nicely and Kobe isn't mandatory in maximum 4th quarters this season (while he particularly makes the vast majority of his factors) then Lebron has had a greater physically powerful statistical season in my opinion. So if the fad retains the comparable by using the season I skinny ok Lebron will carry the MVP trophy and Kobe the Finals Trophy.

Nash, A.I., K.G., LeBron, other superstar players wouldnt be considered a dark horse.. so my pick is Chris Paul.. it's only his second year.. and he is already so talented.. he would suprise everyone if he won MVP.. i don't think anyone would expect him to win it..

My dark horse is Allen Iverson. He always puts up good numbers, but so far Philly is off to a fast start and the better their record, the better his chances.

Also Dirk Nowitzki and Kevin Garnett.
