Good question but there is no easy answer. Cannabis is different to drugs like Amphetamine or Ecstacy in terms of how they leave the body. While Amphetamine and Ecstacy and many other other drugs are water soluble and leave the body very quickly in urine, Cannibis binds to fats in the body and thus it is much harder to get rid of. The excretion is abviously dependent on how much of these fats a person has and how much of the drug they have smoked. Urine drug tests pick up a metabloite of Cannabis but even these drug tests have a tolerance level so if you haven't smoked too much of the drug the excretion of metabolites in urine may fall below the detectable level of the test being used.

I work for a drug where we perform clinical trials and we cannot accept people who take drugs of abuse. We advise that subjects who have smoked cannabis within 6 to 8 weeks will probably show a positive result and we cannot use them.

it can stay in your system for up to 5months, but it depends on the person and the usage you might get away with after 2 weeks, the tolerances of the testing equipment also comes into play, if you know your having a urine test never let it be your first pee of the day after a nights sleep it would be full of evidence, drinking water can help but only a little but the employer (i presume) might be a little suspicious if you have flooded your system with water, it makes the test take longer to register anything. As for sweating it out forget it because chemicles are stored in your fat aswel, so if you start to burn this fat they are realeased into your system again. Eat plenty of red meat before your test, creatine can help with masking the drugs. The only way really to beat the test is to carry some clean urine with you, but beware the temperature is checked. Also the acidity is checked so putting a little bleach in your own pee(as some people used to do) will show.

a little less than 1 week, up to a month.

it depends on how often the person smokes or ingests cannabis.

if the person does use it quite frequently (on a daily basis) for about a month, it will take a month for it to clear from the blood.

if the person only used it once, or not that often, it can be cleared from the system within a week or so.

drinking lots of water and light exercise can clear it from the system quicker.

Depends on THC content-up tp 1 yr in urine-10 yrs in hair follicles.

Let's clarify: correct, never give the 1st one of the day. Drink cranberry juice, it flushes your system, and will not show as diluted. It doesn't matter what equipment, it depends on the threshold that they are testing for. Be clean for as long as you can prior, and give the 8th or 9th pee of your day. Be careful about masks, they look at blockers (of course they can test for them) sometimes as strong indicators, and you would have to re-take it.

Stays in your blood system for 3 weeks, in your urine for 3 months. I think, if I can remember correctly. There again, not too sure. Can be traced in your hair as well.

I have heard different stories. Some say it stays in your blood around 3 to 4 weeks and it stays in your urine for 1 week and if you drink plenty of water it will help reduce it but they can check your hair and
I really don`t know how long it stays in your hair!!

They say 30 days but that is BS. I honestly smoked weed everyday and stopped smoking for 17 days and passed a drug test.
