Capello is rebuilding the team. Something prior coaches didn't have the courage to do. Ronaldo and Beckham and a few others need to be phased out...

This is an effort from the coach to improve Ronaldos form. The more competitive matches he plays, the better he becomes, then he will join the first team on high form and show the world what Ronaldo means. He is a legend and a great footballer that needs to get back on track, and that is what Capello is doing.

Although capello & ronaldo may not be the best of pals technically capello has a point in keeping ronaldo from full action just as dunga is doing him in brazil national team:
capello is coming at a time when madrid is desperate for a silverware and players like ronaldo who are curently below match fitness standard should not think of playing 90 minutes
again ronaldo is up against compatriots ruud van, robinho ,reyes and raul who are not playing badly either. all these players cant play at the same time hence the need for some time sharing pending when any of them will make himself indispensable by reason of superior performance.

Thanks for the question. shows real concern n love. its about time for the fans of the great game to unite and push the managers to not to destroy art over commerce. there are only a few left who can compose melody and rhythm to symphony and its high time to let them do so, otherwise skill and grace will soon be an endangered species. Masters do need to practice and practice real time not behind close doors in a training camp far away from the madding crowd. Pele, Maradona, Cruyff, Best, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho are gifts from Lord Jesus and we just cannot write them off just like that. The guy needs time to surpass difficult times (they all did) and Capello has a promise and duty to fulfill when he pledged his life to the beautiful game. Dont keep him under lock and key, he has a right to flourish, give him a chance to do so by playing him more than ever and we all promise Mr.capello that you will be rewarded handsomely.....
Thanks once again for bringing this up. We also need fans like you. jolly good show-cheers!

i agree ronaldo is a legend but he's been disappointing his fans by not being dedicated to his game. hopefully he'll regain his fitness and go was to how he once was. im sure age is not a barrier if you're perservering enough (sheringham, 38yo)
