I do not think color is an issue. What matters is your personality and how you treat your peers. Do not worry about what people think of you. Some people just hate on people because they do not like thenselves. Just be yourself, whether you are brown, teal, lemonlime.

It depends on how that black person is dressed. If they are dressed with their pants around their ankles and a shirt five sizes to big with a house around their neck, I am going to assume they are a ******. Oh yeah, and the whole "ebonics" thing. Other than that, I have met a lot of nice black people and I try not to judge anyone upon first meeting, but sometimes it is hard to not be judgemental of people who insist on living what they call the urban/ganster lifestyle. They are just keeping themselves down.

Same thing that goes through my mind when I meet anyone.
I am interested to get to know them as a person and I want to see if we have things in common and if we like to hang out as friends. I am 27, female from a small city in Canada.

Well this is just because most black people dress up like punks, you know, big sweater, baggy pants, backwards hat, I think "God what a jerk" But when a white person dresses like that I think the same thing, color isn't the issue, it's just the stereotypes that cheese me off. And I don't know why but I'm not sexually attracted to black people, I don't know why, they just don't turn me on. But don't get me wrong, I'm not racist and I have lots of black friends, not like I chose to not be attracted to them.

I don't know you, how do I formulate an opinion about you or 'black people'? I need to know someone before I can tell you if I like them or not. I hate to disabuse you of your belief system, but I don't question if someone is black, white, yellow, green or purple when I first see them. I notice eyes, smile, body language, etc. Guess I'm not your target audience.

I'm Australian. The last time and only time I met an African-American was 6 years ago during the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. He asked me for directions. He was polite, well spoken and thankful that I helped him out.

Nothing goes through my mind about their skin color.
What matters is their personality and what type of person they are.
