100 and below, and you're bordering on slow.
100 is the average.
100 - 120 is above average.
120-140 is intelligent.
I believe 140 and above is really intelligent.
160 would be verging on Einstein territory.

Although this will vary with test employed, the general rule is these ranges apply:
Mean(Average) = 100, Standard Deviation 15
Thus, the following ranges will generally serve as a guideline:
Severe retardation Below 70: 1% of the population is within this range
Mild Retardation: 70-84: 5% of the population is within this range.
Average: 85-115: 68% of the population of the population is within this range.
High intelligence: 116-130 5% of the population is within this range.
Very High Intelligence: 130-145: 1% of the population is within this range.
A couple of things you may also wish to consider. Intelligence is composed of a number of factors, which, when the test is administered individually by a trained psychologist, go a long way toward pointing to strength and weaknesses in the way an individual learns new information, and retains what has been previously learned.
A second factor is the RELIABILITY of the test score which varies with how far the original score was from the mean of the test. Thus, if you scored between 85-115, you are likely to have a very similar score if you repeat the test atg a later time. On the other hand if you scored above 130, it is likely you will get a quite different score if you repeat the test.

Using the most widely accepted scale of measurement, SD 15, the highest score that could possibly be achieved is about 194, which is about 1 in 5.5 billion. A score of 195, 1 in 8.5 billion might be possible depending on how the test ceiling was designed.
However, there are no tests that have been normed properly to test effectively above 166.
That and the validity of all IQ tests is questionable above 140, hence the majority of tests do not test beyond 145 for various reasons. There are no known statistical correlations that are useful for IQ's above 140.
That and scores above 145 suffer dramatically from ceiling effects, hence why they are not often used. What this means is as you approach the ceiling score of a test, the IQ gets distorted...1 more question right could inflate your IQ dramatically, and the difference between a score of 155 and 150 could be 1 question.
Some high range tested have been created to avoid ceiling syndromes, but their validity is questioable.
The average IQ is 100.

The average for a person is 100.
I believe, in the latest IQ test, you cannot score above 200. Although, don't take my word for it, I read it in a very old book which is probably outdated.
