I had to run this experiment like 20 times before I could answer - on avg, the cat gets away for about 8.3 seconds, but you should try it yourself just to be sure

There is no exact answer to how long anything lives. But I had a 1/2 seal point Siamese/1/2 calico barn cat that lived to age 19 and a friend had a purebred Siamese that lived into its 20's. Average lifespan for a cat is about 13-15 years and Siamese do tend to live a little longer than average.

As long as the cat's free to run on the ground,and away from the wheels,it should be fairly safe.. ;)
BBC's "Top Gear" driving show do some crazy car related stunts-I saw one where they had a 747 dial up to full thrust,and drove a couple of cars across the runway through the jetwash...They used a citroen 2cv first,and then, I think a Mondeo....the 2cv literally took off,it was so lightweight,and the mondeo rolled over a couple of times....very instructive..and destructive!
