What is the best ACT prep book?
I am going to take it on 3 weeks in Dec, its Nov 6 now; what would be the best book that closely resembles what is on there or that helped you out the most or what other things helped you to be prepared for the SAT with essay writing?

I'll admit up front: I'm biased. I strongly believe that Kaplan materials are best, since we put more into researching and writing test-like material than most of our competitors make in a year. Get a book and commit yourself to 30 minutes of studies every day, as well as a practice test every weekend. Consider a small private tutoring package if you/your parents can handle the financial commitment. Bottom line: make sure you take at least 2 full-length practice tests and that you carefully review answers&explanations to diagnose (and improve on) your weaknesses.
