Yes. Stress can definitely cause contractions. I had TONS of stress during my last few weeks of pregnancy. My doctor wanted me in the hospital because it was causing me to have contractions. I did end up going into labor 3 weeks early, so try not to let things get to you too much okay. You want to let that baby in there as long as you can. Good luck and i hope things get better for you.

Extreme stress can cause the placenta to pull away from the uterus. I almost lost my son at 29 weeks due to this. My husband almost died less than 2 weeks before so I was extremely stressed.

yes this is true. being stressed out emotionally during pregnancy can cause early labor.

Well i have been a complete hormonal ***** and have sobbed and thrown ***** fits and had alot of heart breaking issues through out my pregnancy im now 38 weeks tomorrow and my little man is still growing happily inside me :) I have heard that they sense their mums emotions and it can affect baby too though.
