go to your local auto paint supply store and buy some steel wool...believe it or not it works...but don't use on mirrors...i use it to get overspray off of windows and the acid rain comes off as well...don't scrub to hard it doesn't take to much pressure to get it off...

Toothpaste works very well, i've done this myself, it took awhile but it was worth it.
