There were some very difficult times for me in grade school. The trauma I had taught me a lot of lessons about life and living. Lessons I still carry today.

I disagree. Grade school builds the fundamental blocks that are necessary to specialize later in life. If you don't have a solid base, you aren't going to get far in whichever field you think you might want to make a career in.

As to what job you get...No. How the rest of your life goes...Yes. Gradeschool is when you are being socialized and that affects the rest of your life.

I disagree, without all the middle school subjects, there wouldn't be scientists, physicists, doctors, dentists, lawyers, teachers, nurses, or anyone of importance. If there was no middle school we'd have all waitresses and fast food workers (sry if i offended anyone)

Maybe not the grades you get, but whether you learn to read, reason, investigate, follow directions, all matter to how successful you will be in anything.
