My family has to move off of Long Island because we can no longer afford it. We don't want to move to far away but have no idea on where to look. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Connecticut!!! Its a beautiful state. The cost of living is still a little high, but not as bad as long island. You won't be too far from the city, so you can still visit friends. The school systems are really good as well. Good luck with wherever you decide to go.

there are some great places at great prices in Iran.Also Lebanon has a Good rebuilding projects.

I suggest Missouri because it has CHEAP houses.
