I heard that if one makes a circle around an ant they will stay in the circle. Why is this?

hmm intresting u may have solved my ant problem. seriously though its probably poison to ants so they want to stay away from it.

It's also supposedly any type of powder such as borax. Borax is used against fleas in the carpet. I'm thinking the same way it effects the fleas might apply to ants and it would be the power dehydrates them and kills them.

From my opinion that if an ant were to cotact an object that will change their body smell, they will not go in contact as when they in contact with their fellow ants, that ant with different smell will get attack by their fellow ants as ants only recognise their friends by smell if different smell they will treat it as their foes and attack process will occured. Simple enough for u to understand?
