There is a bit more tolerance than before. But, I never trust the calm before the storm. Whites can switch anytime if they think they have support and can get away with it.

You have been gifted with a multi racial back round.

Most White Americans in the United States are Multi ethnic.

There is far less concern today on Race. Time has a way of changing our culture. Hawaii is considered the most racially mixed of all the 50 states. Caucasians are truly in the minority in Hawaii.

Many Racists still exist and will continue to cause problems among the people of color and different races.

It makes me sad, that you are sad...People care about people.

Focus on the Goodness and leave the racists to their own fate.

Good Luck and God Bless.

I think in a lot of places it is. My daughters school is amazing. It is so multi racial and multi cultural it really teaches the children a lot. It doesn't just break down the racial barrier it seems to be non existant. My daughter came home from school talking about a new friend girl at school. She was trying to explain the girl to the neighbor and I and the neighbor asked her what color the girl was. My daughter looked at her funny and said I don't know, but shes a girl.
I thought that was so great that she didn't see color or anything just the person. I hope this starts to happen everywhere.

i definitely agree that in few generations that we there will be so many different blends of ethnicity that the only race will be human. i am Caucasian but my daughter is 1/4 Cuban (grandmother emigrated from Cuba in the 50's) i have a friend whose is Caucasian and is raising three adorable boys who are 1/4 Vietnamese depending on who they grow up and marry there is no telling what kind of grand kids i could have and i look forward to a day when questions like these are pointless because we will have mingled into a loving society who doesn't care where your ancestors came from or how dark or pale your skin is

Yes, I believe once we have different races, everyone can say "Yeah that is normal." and accept bi or even muti racial people. Most older people don't like bi-racial people but the more and more people get over the racist epidemic the more people will be less prejudice...but sadly, it is a long way off and a fight worth fighting. God doesn't want us hating each other for different races so I'll keep praying for people to soften their hearts toward differnt races!

Yes I believe so. The more people are exposed to different races the better they'll be at accepting them, but it is always advisable to be vigilant to what may arrise. I'm glad your background gives you peace, but just remember that while some people aren't racist they do like to hold onto their ancestor's culture to a degree, which may hold them back from intermarring, not that it should hold them back if truly in love. My German background is very important to my family and I would like to pass it down to my kids. You wouldn't believe some of the weird food and even expressions only my family (that I know of any ways) have held on to. It's a little weird but I love them.

I think so, but remember there is a reason why almost every black person in America who has slave blood also has white blood. The sexual barrier was always down, its the political barriers that serve as the problem.

Doubt it. Interracial dating is so prevalent because people believe the media hype that we're all equal and hundreds of thousands of years of evolving seperately has only resulted in differences of phenotype with no corresponding differences in genotype.

We arent and there are differences. In fact by 2050 you will be able to pinpoint your acestry back many generations when personalized genome maps are as common and cheap as chest x-rays are today.

yeah everyone is like love eachother for who what they are, it is a bunch of crok because people do not want to believe that there is racism, sexism and classism, and how these systems all intertwine, furthermore, people lie to themselves so much it makes me wonder how the hell do I fit in in this equation in this country, for example, you can have a person thinking I want everyone to accept everyone else, yet, they are thinking in the back of their heads, I really hate these certain kind of people, and i also think that women are worthless, and poor people can keep trying to feed their family of the little bit of foodstamps the goverment puts you through hell to get, everyone just needs to stop lying to themselves, good luck I hope you kinda of get the jist of what i am saying.
