advice on jobs?

i filled out like 6 online applications for bank jobs its been almost a week..when should i call the job ..or should i wait?? do employers even look at online applications?

Six? My friend... try SIXTY applications before you expect any kind of response. Follow-up with those applications within three business days to be sure they received it and to let them know you are interested. Try to make 20 contacts per day... it won't take long to make a 100 contacts in your first week. Keep the numbers strong and your quality of resumes high... you'll get the job you want.
