Has anyone had an Ulnar Nerve Transposition?

I'm going next Friday for the surgery and have heard a lot about it....complications, symptoms, and all that...but I want to hear from people who have had it how their experience was...pain, any complications, recovery time, how you injured it, yadda yadda yadda...lol...anything can help. yea they thought i had a UCL tear...i would throw a softball and my elbow would "pop" and i would lose all sensation in my hand...then i wouldn't be able to pick up an empty water bottle...i can't hold it on a desk, can't drive with it on the steering wheel, and constantly get the numb sensation in my fingers when i place my elbow down for more than 5 mins...

Anyway, the surgeon will usually cut through the back portion of your elbow and locate the ulnar nerve which is sitting in a groove(the nerve causes tingles when you hit the inner portion of your elbow against something hard, hence the term funny elbow). The surgeon will then place the nerve in front, out of the groove where it probably is being irritated. That's the essence of the procedure. All you really have to worry about is the pain from the wound. This surgery is usually performed when the nerve is irritated from a skewed elbow secondary to a fracture around the elbow joint. This will cause problems in your 4th and little finger. Did you have this?
