Yes indeed. Let me tell you this...most people who aren't savvy shoppers don't notice these things. Please people...pay attention at the grocery store and call and complain to the phone number on the package of the product. Many companies have a clever, sneaky way to cut costs. The packages appear the same on the outside but may be indented more on the bottom or have less weight in the same size package, etc. Most people don't notice this unless you are a regular label reader. I have bought many things that are in the exact same package that they have come in for years, but the volume has gone from 12 oz to 9 oz, etc., but the price remains the same. If you are not paying close attention, you will never notice. For example-next time you go to the grocery store, look at the bacon packages. They have almost always been sold in 1LB (16oz) packs. Now, they are being sold in 12 oz packs which are the same package size as the 16 oz ones. When you are comparison shopping and you see 1 pack for the same price as another, one might hold 12 oz as the other 16 oz. Consumers rule and set standards-$ and comments speak volumes! Read your labels guys!

yeah i agree with you 100%. Pants too. Pants are getting smaller. I have tons of size 3 jeans and they all fit, now when i go out and try to get a size 3, they are always too tight and too low. what the hell is wrong with society? and u know what else is a huge rip off? Mcdonalds ice cream cones..does anyone else remember when they used to be 49cents a cone?? Now im paying 1.28 and its half the size. In a 5 year span. Give me a break.

I can’t believe I just saw this question… because my husband and I were just at the store and noticed this!

All the boxes on the cracker aisle are “SO MUCH SMALLER!” I’m not sure if other states are seeing it yet, but trust me, you’re going to be shocked! Especially since the prices aren’t much different between the sizes. It’s disappointing!

thats hallarious, i bought some of those tree cakes for my husband yesterday and he took one and he was like NO WAY, its like they kept the wrapper bigger and shrunk the goods. Also arizona iced teas in the glass bottle are like midget sized, everything is shrinking but growing in price. ♥
