i keep getting the ones that pop up every sec, if anyone has any ideas please let me know. ty

if they pop up every sec than you need to ckeck the program for the settings !
Sometimes it will give you an option on what to do , like allow , block , don;t show again etc.

I recommend zone alarm free edition. It is very effective and easy to set up.

Those are popups and you dont need a firewall for those... Look for the free pop up blocker on your Yahoo toolbar..

Check out the AVG anti-malware suite. Its cheap, and the best out there. www.grisoft.com
Stay away from Norton or McAfee please, they stop bad things from getting in or out by bloating your system so much it can't even run properly.
AVG has a free trial you can download.
