Logic Problem?

Doris' watch is slow, but she thinks it's fast and will leave late and inevitably miss the plane.
Ida's watch is fast, but she thinks it's slow, so she'll leave early and have lots of time on hand to catch the plane.
Lois' watch is slow, but she, like Doris thinks it's fast and shall meet with Doris' fate.
Vera's watch is fast, but she, like Ida, thinks it's slow and will catch the plane.
Ida and Vera catch the plane.
Doris and Lois miss it.

the problem is pretty simple lets just say the time is 9:00 then
Doris
time: 9:00, watch says: 8:55, she thinks 9:05

Ida's
time: 9:00, watch says: 9:04, she thinks 8:55

Lois
time: 9:00, watch says: 8:50 she thinks 9:00

vera
time: 9:00, watch says: 9:10, she thinks 9:05

What i did was I set a time it could be any time then u set a colum on a table that will say what there clock/watch say's which some from the first few words. by doris watch is 5 min slow so i would subtract by 9:00 which is 8:55 and then what they think like she think is 10 min fast so u add 10 to what there watch says. Then u see if the time is 9:00 who's time is > or = to 9:00 they r the 1 that got on the plane the other didn't in this case Ida's didn't even 1 else did.

If a person thinks their watch is faster than it is, then they will arrive too late. Consider the example of Doris. She will arrive when her watch shows 2:10. She thinks she is arriving at 2:00, but in reality it is 2:15. Lois will also miss the plane for a similar reason.
