Someone was talking about it in my class, so i was wondering if it was true, and if it was when will it come out?

Yes there would be a movie and I'm so excited about it. Based on the sneak trailer I saw during the Sony Music Anime Fes '06, the main characters--Kira, Athrun, Shinn, Lacus and Cagalli would be present in the movie. As of now, it is in the works and I think TM Revolution would also have some part in this movie cause he mentioned it in his concert on that same event.
I also have seen posters of Kira wearing a Zaft commander uniform from the Gundam Festival held last August. There will be a movie that takes place after the Destiny storyline. Anime News Network lists it as being for sometime 2007, but I haven't seen a possible date for its release anywhere else.
The movie should not be confused with the Special Editions that came out for SEED and that are currently being released (in Japan) for Destiny. The Special Editions are only condensed versions of the series (although adding a few new scenes), while the movie will be its own story.

I know there was a special ending for each of the series.
For Destiny, i know they made an entirely new ending episode to satisfy fans.
A movie? Hell i'd want to watch that!
