Baseball team / theme keychains can be made into ornaments by removing the chain and putting an ornament hanger into the remaining eye hook. Check also on websites for each of the major league teams (see mlb.com). Most have merchandise shops and this time of year many are sure to be selling Christmas ornaments. Some sporting good stores (larger ones, anyway) stock ornaments with team logos at Christmastime, too.

well....you can go to those craft stores and by those christmas balls that you can paint on....and to make it fun you and your son can paint it lookin like baseballs, or whatever u want on them....like paint the whole christmas ball white and put red for the seams of the ball.....and you can put the christmas lights as the colors of your favorite teams...for example if your favorite team is the red sox...you can put red lights and white lights...I think you can buy lights that are only red or only green or whatever colors. the baseball tree sounds like a good idea.....i'd do that for my son if i had one lol
