I find Aragorn to be an extremely interesting character. He has so many opportunities to take an easier way, he is so human, and yet he keeps making the noble choices. He is an extreme example of fidelity--he waits for Arwen for about 60 years! Although he loves Arwen deeply, he takes risks that might cost him any chance to be with her, but he does it because he has sworn to protect Frodo and to aid him in his task of destroying the Ring.
In the movies, I really like Viggo Mortenson's portrayal of Aragorn. He could be made to be very noble and "larger than life" but Viggo plays him as the Strider we first meet in the books--travel-stained and lonely from so many years in the wilderness. And Viggo's voice is amazing--very compelling.....

For me its got to be the King of Gondor,after everything thats thrown at that city it always bounces back & reigns long after the elves have gone. Not very detailed, I apologise! But I do adore Aragorn as you probably know!

I personally like the Prince of Mirkwood, because elves are just more my style then a long living human. Graceful, wise, strong, basically a longer living and more perfected humanity. And when I say Prince of Mirkwood, I don't necessarily mean the movie version. I like him from the book, because he's much more... I don't know really. I guess I just like imagining him how I want to.

i dont know who the prince of Mirkwood is....but, in any case, im going to stick with Samwise Gamgee. :D hes so cute!! and polite, kind, and shy....just like me! :D plus, hes poetic, very unlike me. but yea, curly red hair, determined, fierce in a pinch. wats not to love?? and hes funny. my favorite scene is when he storms minas morgul to rescue frodo. 'thats for frodo! thats for the shire! AND THATS FOR MY OLD GAFFER!!!" lol!
