girls have this instinct to more likely to stick together, they would in turn make the island like robinson crusoe. Instead of killing each other they would groom each other, but i believe insecurities will set in and things are bound to happen but thats just a script. (who knows what can happen with young girls stranded on a island)

I dont think it would be much different. Some of us are caring nurturing types and other ladies are "cut throat". There i a fine line between the two, so it would all out war. Everone would make lil factions and single out certain girls, all out war. I am a woman and I will be frank on this, if I were on the island, i would definately get a faction going, for protection ; )

Truth is, neither boys nor girls would regress into such barbarism. Maybe adults. But, not children. The most significant difference between boys and girls would be in how much more divided the girls would be at first compared to the boys, due to girls culturally lacking as many opportunities before being stranded to practice leadership and organizational behaviors. But, the girls would definitely stay cleaner. : )

It would depend on how many wanted to be the leader. If just one - cooperation. If more than one - factions. It is doubtful it would get anywhere near the level of Lord of the Flies though.

Hmm. Interesting question. I think at first they'd be comforting and consoling to each other -- helping each other fix their injuries, getting a shelter put together, finding some source of food and figuring out how to get it.
But I think there's definitely a potential for drama -- girls pout, get their feelings hurt more easily, feud with each other over stupid things. And the hierarchy thing is definitely there. They would also "exclude" people, form cliques, and maybe not work together as well as they should. I can see a tragedy happening just as easily with girls, as with boys. Someone gets excluded and winds up starving -- or even is "picked on" to death.

Well, I doubt seriously that the level of drama would have been the same. More cooperation and less deadly competition. Perhaps, no hunting at all. As different as the variance in men and woman, but not as variant as we would not recognize the situation.

Hmmm....sounds like a good reality show idea....yeah! Lets do it!
Personally, after reading some criminal reports...I could easily see one or two being 'picked on to death' as was mentioned earlier.

yeah, haven't read it. But this is what i think. They're young girls so they'll go crazy crying for their mama, they would have nothing to eat because they don't know how to cook. They'll be doomed!
