I've been looking into learning Arabic, however, I can't seem to figure out which dialect to learn. Pimsleur has audio programs for Eastern Arabic and for Egyptian Arabic. Also, Rosetta Stone has an Arabic program and I don't know what dialect that is. How should I choose a program to learn Arabic? I'd appreciate it if you could shed some light on the different dialects and which one is the best to learn.

egyptian arabic is the simplest, and all the arab world knows how to speak egyptian slang, because they watch our movies and songs all the time, so its gonna be more useful.
but i have to tell u something, arabic is one of the most difficult languages in the world, its better if u can take courses (not online), and u need to practice with someone too.
Goodluck:)
