POD is a christian band, I believe.

They're certainly in the same vein as the bands you've listed.

Switchfoot is a bit less agressive, but still an amazing rock band. Some of their newer stuff is a bit less Christian-influenced, but certainly never inappropriate. I'd let 10 year old listen to Switchfoot.

Caedmon's Call is great as well, but they're more of an acoustic band.

You might try mxpx--they're punk. Deitiphobia ("donderfliegen" in the early days) are industrial; the Choir are pretty good alt-rock, as is Applehead. A good site to look for the stuff you'd like in C-rock is crossingmusic.com; they have everything by category. HTH.

It's been a long time since I listened to Christian rock. Is Petra still around? I really enjoyed them.

in a number of their songs it variety of feels as though they're christian rock - yet then there are different songs the place they do no longer -- if u hear to "carry on" it variety of sounds like a non secular song besides - i think of it only relies upon on how u wanna seem at it!!!!

Personally, I'd recommend Audio Adrenaline. They're not very well-known, but their music ROCKS!!!!

I haven't heard any of the bands you just mentioned. But Switchfoot is awesome! Falling Up is cool, too. Can't think of any more right now. Seya. :)
