Charlie's wife is sitting on the couch, watching the news when a report comes on that there is a person driving down the wrong side of the freeway. Mary, (his wife), decides to call him and warn him about taking that freeway home.
When she mentions that there is someone driving on the wrong side... He interupts with "One?... Everyone is driving on the wrong side!"
If everything is going wrong, than try getting on a different path. It is going wrong, because that is life's way of saying you need to change something. Once you are on the right path things will become more clear. Trust me I know.

To accept the challange and make things go better for you.
Best part of so much adversity is the benefits you derive by getting through the hardest times. The gifts and rewards after you get past all the wrongs just may be so much better then you could have hoped for had life been so smooth, It's the resistence that builds muscle and character my friend. Your perspective can always change a little too, if you don't like the way things seem from where you stand, then stand somewhere else and look again, may look better.

If everything is going wrong, then take a step back, and look at your life. When things go wrong, it means you are on the wrong "path". Stop what you are doing ( job, home, recreational life style, etc.) and "choose " a new path, or a different way to go. When you are on the right path, everything in your life will "flow" together, and life is easy.

Sometimes life becomes unbearable and overwhelming and everything seems to be wrong.Even if things do go right it still doesn't measure up to all the things that are wrong or so they seem in that moment. It happens and somethings are out of your control but there are certain things that are in your control such as your thinking, emotions, etc.,believe me they are a big part of your distress. This is also a test of life where it pitz you in front of a big invisible mirror and watches you.Everything you are, have learnt, your values, beliefs, patience, understanding etc.,are judged.Know that this will pass.Times like this solidify your faith in life, the universe and oneself if nothing else.Once you acquire a solid foundation of faith, belief, understanding of and within yourself then no amount of hardship can ever completely break you.Have a huge good cry and once all the pent up undesirable energy is released-you will automatically stop,go to the bathroom and take a **** and go to bed. When you awake you will have a lot less weight on your shoulders.Do you morning rituals and see where you are at.Prioritize and know that if you change one thing everything changes.Good luck my friend-peace.You can write if you'd like to talk. You take care.Chio!

I wish I could give you a peppy, upbeat answer.... but I don't believe there is intrinsic meaning in life. You may feel differently if you're religious. If you are, I'd suggest taking support in your church/beliefs. If you're not, you'll probably be in for a bumpier ride. You have to decide for yourself what gives your life meaning. My perspective is this: you have to go through some rough times to truly enjoy and appreciate the good times. So just hang in there. Hopefully something beautiful is waiting for you around the corner.

Living is not always having the right thing in your life. If something goes wrong, SMILE! Know that that's part of life... it had always been and still is.

Everything meaning what? Your family, work and friends not there for you? I agree with one answer that it could be a wake-up call. When we're trying to look out for #1 too much we forget about others who are important to us and maybe disrespect those we work with. It's good to have ambition and drive as long it's not causing a destructive path behind you. Just a thought.

There is no meaning to life. People have searched for meaning through meditation, religion, and relationships. However, it's all-too-obvious that we're just hairless apes swinging through concrete jungles. Read "On Intelligence" by Jeff Hawkins.
