It's so loud that you have to turn your volume down and then when the movie comes on you can't hear anything so you have to turn it back up again. What's the sense. Who's brainstorm was that?!

So the jackasses who spent a small fortune on a digital personal theater, at the expense of all else (relationships with friends and family, security and interest on a 401k plan, etc) can get all geekily excited before their movie comes on! Dig that plasma screen baby!

it's like an advertisement so that you know that both the film and the theater are equipped with THX sound.
