Boys do not know. They will feel attracted to all sorts of things and it doesn't tell their sexuality. If you are a man and are still attracted to other men, then you are gay or bi. If you are a man and don't like women and love men then you are just gay.
But boys are attracted to everything. Boners come from nowhere. Stop worrying about that until you are a bit older.

if the boy has a crush on another boy or fantasies about being with another boy, then he's gay. also, if the boy starts to act very strange in front of a guy (like how a girl acts strange in front of a guy she likes), then possibilities are that he's gay. if the boy does those, has a crush on a girl or fantasies about being with another girl, and acts strange in front of a girl, then he's bisexual.
