**HDD- Hard Disc Drive

Ya it is. I wish I had that much memory and storage in my system. I could use that storage for multimedia as I do a lot of video editing and encoding. Currently I only have 530 GB of hard drive space and 1 GB of RAM (will be adding another gig if and when I upgrade to Vista).

That is not a lot. That is HUGE.

For most home use, usefulness ends at around 2GB of memory. What kind of applications are you going to use that will use that much resources?

2TB of disk space will allow you to store lots of stuff, but again, what are you going to store that will make use of that much? Also keep in mind, how are you going to back up that much data?

Depends on the house, if that is a media center server or MythTV backend, then no, its not a lot. If you copy DVD isos its not a lot.
It's relative...

depends on what you're using it for. For most home users, it is too much computer. For servers in a data center, probably it is about average...or less, depending on the applications run.
