the British gov't killed over300 soldiers durring WWI because they refused to return to fighting after being tramatized. they were put in front of a firing squad and they gov't is now saying sorry to the families and saying that they forgive the men for not returning to the front lines. they did this so the men's families would drop their lawsuits

The 1st sentence pretty much summarizes it.

I think you really need to do more reading. This is a news story pretty much written at a 7th grade level, as are most of the news articles.

Please tell me that you are in 4th grade, that is why you can't understand this.
