My suggestion is to download a program that Lavasoft developed called Ad-Aware SE Personal from download.com. Run the program and let it clean out the viruses you have. The Dell support thing probably can be removed from the add/delete programs section of my computer, but you may want to hang onto that if your system is having problems.

In my spare time I test antispyware an antivirus software in my backup pc to see if they perform as claimed. An especially to see if there is hidden trojans or adware either in their program or the wizard installer used to guide you through the installation.

Spy Sweeper is a program that is packed with just to much junk. So it does not serve the user very well for security. Plus it is known to cause alot of conflicts with your system.

If I was you I would remove this program and download these two programs that are free and scan all 195,000 objects in my two computers.

http://www.ewido.net Ewido was out of Germany and has been purchased by AVG, out of Prague. The name is now AVG Antispyware. Still the same excellent program with all full functions upon download The program will become free if you don't purchase during the thrity day evaluation period. They will just remove the auto updates and the background guard.

http://www.emsisoft.com This company is out of Austria. Download their free A2Squared V2. They will ask you for your email address so they can send you your free key, that is good for life. The same key you will use for all new versions of their free for home use download. This program also scans 195,000 objects in my pc.

I have the purchased version of this program, because their background scanner is true state of the art technology. Will catch any spyware in real time and destroy. Plus will also pop up if a downloaded program has strange behavior. The background scanner will tell you what the program is trying to do, like download hidden data. Then you make the choice to allow or deny. Updates two or three times per day automatic.

Not sure if the free version updates auto, or as the background scanner. The free version does have rootkit protection.

Plus I use a free program that comes in all languages an is an excellent cleaner with default. Or you can set your own defaults.
Free updates always. http://www.ccleaner.com

Hi there,

Unfortunately you have a browser hi-jacker which Spy Sweeper is obviously failing to remove.

The best and easiest way to remove this infection is by installing the Free Trial of Prevx1. This will scan your PC and remove this and any other infections free of charge.

Enable your free popup blocker on the Yahoo Toobar. It works great and I have no problems.

Get at least two free programs because no one program can detect all spyware http://www.basicspywaretips.com/getridofspyware.html
