Half the people can't remember who they voted for! And people go on forever about anything that makes no difference. It almost makes me afraid of democracy. Almost!

it is scary to know how many uninformed voters there are out there. It is scary that people take ONE thing that the runners believe in, and they vote for that person just because of one thing... not the whole of the person. How can people vote for someone that says 'IF people want health insurance they should get a job" so what should we do? Only get corporate jobs that provide insurance? Impossible! maybe it should be a law that all businesses provide insurance. A neighbor of mine who was 18 for the last presidential vote, had a Kerry sign out in front of her house.. then changed it to a Bush sign.. why? Because she heard Bush was FOR gay marriage.

I do not tell my kids who I vote for because I don't want them to grow up to be a Dem or rep because that is what I am. If they want to know why I voted a certain way on proposals I will tell them.

What scares me too is that we all know that we will never know the WHOLE truth about who we did vote for.

incredibly countless the human beings I consult from have their minds made up and music out the election information and the conflict on terrorism or undesirable financial device ..as they experience that is ineffective to waste their time on those unhappy subjects. maximum human beings have already a candidate they're going to vote for..and 89% of the electorate are unlikely to alter their minds a hundred and fifteen days earlier the election.

George Carlin once said that you can never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

He's right.
