If I were you I would go on the pill, and still use a condom. You can never be too careful, especially if you know that you are not ready to have a child. You can get pregnant at any time, but I don't think that having sex while on your period is a big time for that, especially since by the second day of your period the unfertilized egg is usually out of your system. BE CAREFUL!!!!!
