It is a good 2-3 hour drive, but the scenery is awesome :) Watch out for the animals.

This is one of my favorite drives ever...I don't live in Calgary anymore but it's about 162 miles - about 3 1/2 hrs. of driving. This is a wonderful way to see this area. I would suggest doing a loop and going to Fernie B.C. from Radium the next day - that is an additional 137 miles, but well worth it.

about 140 km west of BC. Forget how long it took us to get there tho.
