Of course not!!!! When people cry and sink into a depressive state when they are not awarded the best answer, they have serious problems. First of all, it sounds like they're addicted to the internet, or just yahoo answers. Not being awarded the best answer is such an overreaction. It is something that is not necessary in life, and it is not important in life, so I am wondering how they deal with other problems that actually matter......Seriously, people really shouldn't cry about such a stupid matter, it shows they're weak and it is totally not something to cry about.

If your expectations of getting the best are high enough to make you depressed if you don't get it, sounds like you need to take a reality check of your priorities. But getting best answer is cool.

Yes, it happens to me occasionally. l just sit down and think about my answer, l realize sometime l should ball about it or just say that l did have a best answer. But l feel gifted when l have a best answer.

I don't generally expect that my response will be chosen as the best answer. I tend to answer questions where I disagree with the person who's asked it, or disagree with their point of view.
