Eat more vegetables and fruits. Stay away from meats as much as possible. Use herbs whenever you can for nutrition and health. Swim whenever you can because swimming is the one activity you can do that utilizes every muscle in the body. Think about it. When you swim you even use your eye muscles as well as every other muscle from your toes to your eyebrows.

There's a common misconception about that. People say that if you work out a certain area you'll lose weight there but all it will do is strengthen and tone the muscles there.
So I yeah it will make you lose weight all over your body but not necessarily the thighs, as with any sport.

You can't lose weight in a specific area. You can tone a specific area. When you lose weight you lose it through your whole body. Swimming is a good source for aerobic exercise so you will burn fat (if you swim for more than 20 min.) but you will lose it on your whole body and not just one place. If you want to tone an area you should do anaerobic exercise (lifting weights, with high weight and low reps) and concentrate on a specific area.

Swimming is a whole body workout. Your legs however will get really, really, really toned up. Along with that ***, arms, legs, and back. It takes time so dont expect it to happen after one session in the water. Stick with it and the results will show.
