is it always just a lust thing? wanting what you can't have and all that? do these kinds of relationships EVER work out?

They don't work out. If you go into it for the lust that's fine, but if you're looking to build a relationship, I'm afraid that isn't possible.

Of course they do not work out. They are not meant to. Wild, exciting, passionate experiences live long in your memory banks but are short lived. Life is full of boring bits, some sad bits, a few tragic events, some good times, the occasional great times and those magical moments that live with you all the days of your life that make the entire life journey worthwhile.

It means that he does not take relationships seriously.
Sounds like he just likes to play around, and I would guess that a relationship with this guy would not work out.

LIKE and LUST, and LOVE are three different things. I have a number of male friends, they all LIKE me but that is all that it is, we are friends, they are married, I am also friends with their wives. If we didn't LIKE each other we wouldn't be friends. You need to learn to tell the difference between the "three Ls"

What makes you think he'd be any more faithful to you than he is with his current wife or girlfriend?

sure they work out until he is going out with you and really likes someone else...then the cycle starts all over again...if he really likes you he will show you some respect by breaking off his current relationship and then pursuing you...right now, he is testing the waters, so to speak, to see if he can get you without the commitment...cheers

no it doesn't he wants his cake and to eat it too. honestly he just wants the sex, at first he will say oh i love to hang out with you your so smart funny you let me be me blah blah, then he will play victim, my so and so she never does this im so free with you. then comes a kiss. then he will say oh imsorry but...etc. get the drift. if he's to much of a wimp to not get out of his relationship first then he is a dog and you need to drop him like a rock. and dont let him con you into well i am going to leave. cuz they never do. its better off to just leave him alone.
