Im 2 days late and show no sign of starting soon. I took a test and it was negative but i wasn't sure if it had anything to do with being on birth control. Could it be a falso negative?

The Pill is hormones, and HPT test for, hormones!, so you might just get a false positive test.

No, a pill won't affect the result and it is because a pregnancy test detects a hormone that is released by the baby at the moment of implantation and it is called hcg. Your body does not make that hormone when you are not pregnant and the pills don't have that hormone. There are no false negatives unless you tested too early but 2 days late should show a test positive. You are NOT pregnant.

No form of birth control that I know of affects a pregnancy test result, but if you are pregnant get off the pill asap.

No it shouldn't affect it. The HPT checks for a certain hormone in the urine and the pill doesn't create this hormone.
