It isn't an issue of interpretation. The constitution states explicitly "No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States." That means that a person must be born in the United States to be president and also must reside in the United States for fourteen years. This completely excludes those of other countries of origin. To get this to change, there would have to be an amendment to the consitution.

How do you change the interpretation? LOL! Appoint a bunch of sophists to the Supreme Court! (Ooops! Too late! Already there!)

To truly change the Constitution, you need a 2/3s vote in both chambers of Congress and ratification in 3/4s of the states.

WE don't want a non-native president and we could care less what you think about that. If you want to get into politics, go back home.
