I will go for The West Indies 70s and 80s.I think int his period of time we got the legendary cricketers for the cricket world.
But now Aussies are developed thier game far better then the other teams.
But the west indies team of 70s and 80s are great because.at that time we dont have this much of facilities to improve the game.Cricket is the Gift for that team then.

No doubt Westindians 70s team was stronger and better side in the world. But nowdays with latest technology and lot of changes occured in the game of cricket Australians adopted present situation excellantly.
Current Australian team has only two good bowlers in their squad Glen Machgrath and Shane Warne. And as consistent batsmen they have optional choosing system.
Westindis 70 was fill the batsmen like Desmond Haynes,Gorden Greenge,Clive Lyold,Viv Richards,Gus Loggy,Jeff Dujon etc. and bowlers like Malcom Marshall,Michel Holding,Jeol Garner,Roger Harper,Ambrose, Walsh etc.
Just imagine current form of cricket with Westindians 70s team !!!!!!

Definitely West Indies 0f 70-80
They were unbeaten up to the third Prudential cup in 1983 when they lost for the first time to India in the preliminary round.
Still between them West Indies have more wins over Australia in ODIs.Australia is yet to surpass W.I.

I'm of the opinion you can not compere sportsmen of different era,in particular 20 or 30 years apart. There has been such advances in training, technology and the science of the game there should be no comparison. How could you compare the speed of Shoab Ahktar or Brett Lee with Curtly Ambrose?
