My favorite character is Tasslehoff Burrfoot. He is always getting into trouble, even though he usually means well. He makes me laugh, especially when he's irritating Flint. I would love to get hold of his pouches and see what all he has in there, even though I'd probably lose some pretty valuable stuff in the process! lol

Raistlin Majere. At the time that the first Dragonlance Trilogy came out, he was a very original character that I simultaneously loved and hated. On the one hand, he was egotistical to an extreme and would sacrifice anything in his pursuit of power and magic. At the same time, he would occasionally show signs of deep empathy and humanity (e.g. his treatment of the gully dwarf Bupu) that showed his potential for good. The character was even better developed in the succeeding books.

Linsha Majere, daughter of Palin and Usha. She had to overcome alot, being a Knight of Solomnia whose family has a history of magic. I recommend you read her trilogy if you haven't already.

My fav main character is Tas. But everyone loves Tas. Who wouldn't love someone who possessed such an awesome artifact as the Kender Spoon of Turning!

Lord Soth has been the stand out character to me but I'm also counting the two Ravenloft books as well. The brothers Majere come in a close second.

For some odd reason, I've always been a fan of Sturm Brightblade. Of course, all the characters from the original series were pretty good.

Wow, haven't read Dragonlance in like forever. Tasslehoff is my favorite. I also like Tanis, and Raistlin was, imo, the most well rounded of the characters in terms of sheer depth.
