yes i am very happy. once the republicans used to be a great party. now, they're all just b*tches. they want all the power for them selves. the democrats, will restore this country's former glory!!!!!

It's normal for the opposite party to gain 30+ seats in the 6th year of a 2 term president. If the Dems fall short, then the Republicans will actually have a victory in a strange way. The only thing that will happen if the houses are split is "nothing will happen".

As always, the democrats sent powerful panic shock waves through the media to scare the public and will win this midterm election. But you just wait, in two years, the republicans will take it all back.

As a Christian conservative, I wager it may be advantageous to give liberals just enough power to remind the rest of America of what they're really made of, but not enough to overturn the progress conservatives have made in social policy issues.. 2008 will definitely be interesting. And we'll be ready. =)

No political party represents the best interests of the people and ahhhh polls are still open in two time zones...three if you count Hawaii.
Senate stays Republican
Congress goes Democrat
Bush goes once his term ends.
People who shout party rhetoric still think they're relevant.

If that's true, I'll do a little happy dance right here in my computer chair! Unfortunately, I think it's too early to tell... at least in some parts of the country. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
