Anyone ever applied at a financial institution and got turned down because of their criminal record(which has nothing on it. Only 7 traffic violations)? There is a speeding ticket pending and that is all. Anybody have any experiance with this kind of thing?

Its possible for a potential employer to check criminal records, and not discriminatory for them to use them in their decision.

7 traffic tickets sounds like a lot unles you have been driving for 20 years.....

is there something you aren't telling us? Maybe a missed court date that turned into a bench warrant?

No your traffic ticket was just what they used as an excuse. Actually your credit rating was probably the problem.
