do you prefer cats or dogs and why?

there has been conserversey over if cats or dogs some people think cats are better others think dogs are better so let me know your opinons

I prefer cats. I like dogs too, I just don't understand them. ^^

Every cat I have had has been very loving and cuddly, greeted me when I come home, and has quickly learned both his name and the ground rules for living with me. Whenever I want him to do something (simple but important stuff like the word "No", coming when called, or to sit on a towel rather than the bare sofa) I simply have to make him understand what I want and he obeys.

I haven't owned a dog myself, but many of my friends and family members are dog people. The dogs are (usually) sweet, but disobedient. Even when they appear to understand, they just don't seem to have the same desire to please their owner like my cats have.

cats are very independent and they relate to a place, dogs love to be around people as much as possible, and can relate to people very well. Both are adorable, it's a matter of your personal preference. It's ok to leave a cat alone at home. But do this to a dog - it'll cry and howl till it turns hoarse by the time you get home. Besides, your neighbor may have called the police to report the noise too.

I like dogs better than cats for simple reason that cats aren`t clean as dogs are. So if I have to buy another pet I`ll buy a dog.

Cats are a pet that doesnt really care about the owners. Only about food. Dogs are loyal and protective of the people that they love. Dogs are also smarter and can be trained to do all sorts of things.

Cats. They require less care, don't smell (except the litter box), don't have to be bathed or go out for walks. I am not very fond of a wet dog smell or "doggie breath". But mainly because they are independant. I do not want an animal who worships me like a god. "To a dog man is GOD, no cat ever made a silly mistake like that". But in all honesty cats won't do much to protect you or your property.

Dogs have owners cats have employees. I'm a dog person because I'm selfish and want a pet that actually shows affection!

All animals are great, most prefer dogs because they will just give you affection, with a cat you have to work for it

Dogs are better because cats think they are too good for humans, and dogs are loyal and nice and just darn smarter, also dogs are always forgiving, and they don't judge you by how many pimples you have, or if your nose is sideways, or if your hair is messy, or if your eyes are too far apart...etc. etc...

But then, people who like cats see the beauty in them, but i see no beauty at all. I will probably be rated badly for saying that. but point out the beauty, i am not totally blind i can look for it. ;D

while youthful, a cat with the aid of attachment and behaviour of the cat. the subsequent is a guy with the aid of fact they like to spend something of their existence in marital bliss, you already know, such as you spot on television, the guy cares and does for you, brings you roses and maintenance issues around the abode. a guy who kisses you and help with chores and young ones. After looking what men are rather like, women folk start to prefer dogs to maintain the lads away so the girls can play.

Cats have slaves.
By the way I have 2 dogs and 4 cats.Both have pros and cons.
I prefer cats as I don't have to register them, walk them or pick up their crap during a walk.
Cats are easier to care for.
