Well… I’ll be thoroughly depressed if the Dems don’t do it….
But either way… I’ll still be thrilled to stop receiving truckloads of smear-campaign crap in my mailbox. I swear… as far as our local races go, you’d think they were campaigning for meanest school-yard bully. In fact, they ought to consider that next time around… at least then someone would actually deserve to win!

edit: Yippee! It's tomorrow... gosh that felt nice going to bed knowing the dems took the house then waking to find Rumsfeld resigned, then checking back later and seeing that lovely headline 'Dems take Senate'! Haven't smiled so much at the news in a loooooooooooong time... definitely a happy sueflower today =)

Over? It is just starting. I wish it was over, government finally obsolete, we each can live peacefully, getting along. The presidential race just got started. Get ready for the foul mud. You asked for it by voting for these people. Even if your party didn't get in...You did nothing to change the campaigns, only sent the same people who propagate the same, again and again.

I will be ecstatic when I never hear these political commercials, people calling me to vote for their less evil person and telling me to vote at the wrong polling place.

You want this style of campaigning to stop? Push for a constitutional amendment to restrict campaign contributions to people being represented by the particular election. Why are outsiders' money voting in your election? Take the money out and most of these problems will disappear.

Another is to allow "none of the above" or "No" votes to be recorded. Right now they people counting votes, throw these kind of votes out as errors. "No" votes are never counted, it is as if you never voted. If you can express unhappiness with the campaign, it will clean up the mud slinging. Or will we find out we don't live in a democracy, most people voting no.

Complaining about campaign comercials won't do anything.

I most definitely will!
I am sooooo sick of all the political party phone calls waking up my baby from her nap, and the countless junk mail flyers cluttering up my mailbox. And don't get me started on the stupid campaign sign clutter on the side of the road that no one bothers to take down after the election. Ugh!

truthfully, i might tremendously much extremely see him get a nasty record, jointly as final an straightforward pitcher, to assist instruct to those who W-L documents are not a good way of comparing pitchers. Kawakami may well be the third suitable pitcher on the Braves roster good now. On that comparable word, i'm hoping Greinke can finally end up with a 5-15 record or so, jointly as nevertheless being a Cy youthful high quality pitcher.
